Terms of Use

In short: By using Pixo you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Standard EULA. The App is licensed, not sold. Pixo Pro is an auto-renewable subscription (or a one-time Lifetime purchase) billed through your Apple Account — manage or cancel it anytime in iOS Settings.

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Pixo ("the App") you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms") and to the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple Standard EULA"). If there is any conflict, the Apple Standard EULA governs the license itself and these Terms add app-specific detail. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on any Apple device you own or control, for personal, non-commercial learning. The App is licensed, not sold, to you.

3. Free content

Without a membership you can browse every scene and see each word's picture, pronunciation and examples. The first scene of every section can always be collected for free, plus one rotating free scene each week, and you can make one journal page. Stickers you have collected are yours to keep and practise even after a membership ends or a free week passes. The free tier may be adjusted over time.

4. Pixo Pro membership

  • Pixo Pro perks: collect the stickers of every scene and unlock their assembly animations, unlimited journal pages, iCloud sync of your collection and journals, and all scenes added later. Perks may be adjusted over time.
  • Pixo Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription with monthly and yearly options, and as Pixo Pro Lifetime, a one-time non-consumable purchase that does not renew. Prices are shown in the App before you purchase and vary by region.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Where a free trial is offered (the monthly and yearly plans may include a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers), it automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before it ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; we cannot issue refunds directly.

5. Acceptable use

Except as the law expressly permits, do not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App; do not use it for any unlawful purpose; do not attempt to circumvent purchase, entitlement, or license checks; and do not bulk-extract or redistribute the App's pictures, recordings, or text.

6. Intellectual property

The App and its design, code, illustrations, recordings, example sentences, and the "Pixo / 图个词" name are owned by Gentleflow and protected by law. Share cards and journal images you export from the App are yours to share personally. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks.

7. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or any particular learning outcome.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gentleflow is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App and its in-app purchases in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update the App and these Terms. Continuing to use the App after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach these Terms. On termination you must stop using the App.

11. Third parties

Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. As described in the Apple Standard EULA, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. RevenueCat provides subscription management and Apple provides iCloud; see our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's principal place of business, excluding its conflict-of-law rules, and subject to the mandatory consumer protections of the country or region where you live.
