Privacy Policy
Pixo · Effective October 6, 2026
In short: Pixo needs no account and collects no personal information for advertising or profiling. The stickers you collect, your learning progress and your journals stay on your device and — for Pixo Pro members who turn it on — sync privately through your own iCloud account. Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. No ads, no third-party analytics, no cross-app tracking.
1. Who we are
Pixo ("the App") is developed by Gentleflow ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what data the App handles and how. If you have questions, contact us at gentleflowoverseas@gmail.com.
2. Information we do not collect
- We do not ask you to create an account or provide your name, email, phone number, or address.
- We do not collect your contacts, precise location, or browsing history, and we never read your photo library.
- We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA) and do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not show ads or use third-party analytics.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with data brokers.
3. Data the App stores and uses
- On-device learning data. The words you have learned, the stickers you have collected, the scenes you have completed, your journal pages, and your language setting are stored locally on your device in the App's private storage. Word pictures and audio are built into the App; learning never uploads your content to our servers.
- iCloud sync (optional, Pixo Pro). Syncing across your devices is a Pixo Pro member feature and can be switched on or off in Settings. When it is on, the App syncs your collection progress and journals using Apple's iCloud Key-Value storage. This data lives in your personal iCloud account, is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, and we cannot read it. If your membership lapses, syncing stops and your local data is untouched.
- Saving to Photos (optional). When you choose to save a share card, an assembly video, or a journal image, the App asks for add-only Photos access and writes only the item you saved. It never reads anything from your library.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Pixo offers the optional Pixo Pro membership (an auto-renewable subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase). Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to verify and restore purchases and manage entitlements. For this, RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app-user identifier together with purchase and device information (such as transaction identifiers, country, and device/OS type). RevenueCat processes this on our behalf; see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Apple ID or payment card information.
5. Diagnostics
If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymized crash and performance data through App Store Connect. It is not linked to your identity. If you email us, we receive only what you choose to send.
6. Children's privacy
The App is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we collect no personal information at all, the App builds no profile of any user, including children.
7. Your choices
- Turn iCloud sync off in the App's Settings, or in iOS Settings › [your name] › iCloud.
- Withdraw add-only Photos access anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Photos.
- Delete the App to erase all on-device data.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.
8. Data retention
Learning data on your device and in iCloud is kept until you delete it or the App. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained under their own policies.
9. International users
Our service providers (Apple, RevenueCat) may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
